Elite Women's Lacrosse Camp - July 1-3, 2008

For the advanced lacrosse player entering grades 11- pre-college who is looking for an intense and challenging camp experience. Our staff is comprised of top college coaches who are ready to push you to that next level.

Penn Quaker Women's Lacrosse Camp - July 15-18, 2008

Our Quaker camp is for those athletes entering grades 9- 12 who have the desire to take their game to the next level. Athletes will be grouped based on ability and challenged accordingly. The staff is comprised of college coaches who will run each session like a college practice.

Penn Elite Field Hockey Camp - July 27-30, 2008 & August 3-6, 2008

The Penn Elite Camp is designed for players entering grades 10 through pre-college and preferably have varsity high school experience. All play is held on the artificial turf surface on

Penn Girls Basketball Elite Summer Camp - June 13-15, 2008

This elite camp format is for any high school players who also seek a strong academic environment. Stations are taught and games are played, but there are NCAA Eligibility, Academic Advising and Strength Training sessions as well. Click Here to Register Online!

Quaker Boys Elite Summer Camp - June 20-22, 2008

The Penn Basketball Elite Camp format is for any high school players who seek a strong academic and athletic camp environment. Campers will have the opportunity to work with the Penn staff during stations and games. Training sessions will also be held to inform campers of the college process.

Quaker Basketball Camp at The Palestra - June 23 - 26, 2008 &  August 4 -7, 2008

This Quaker Basketball Camp for Boy and Girls ages 7-16 will provide each camper with a great opportunity for growth and success. Our staff is comprised of enthusiastic, hard-working collegiate and high school coaches as well as members of the Penn men’s and women’s team, who will work closely with the campers on the fundamentals and team concepts of the game. It is our intention to help each camper have an enjoyable week where they will strive for excellence while having fun at the historic Palestra.

Penn Summer Classic Baseball Camp - June 18-20, 2008

This Summer Classic Baseball Camp is a must for any player (ages 13-18) interested in improving his total game. The camp will be teaching-oriented, but will also be used as an avenue for the player to compete at the next level. Each player will receive feed back from their coach at the conclusion of camp. The campers will be exposed to the campus of the University of Pennsylvania. We invite you to join us for an exciting baseball experience in scenic Philadelphia.

Quaker Rowing Camp - June 23-28 , July 14 - 19, and August 4-9, 2008

The Quaker Rowing Camp is designed for both the experienced and novice high school rower (ages 14-18) looking to significantly improve their rowing ability. Instruction and coaching will be geared to the experience level and talents of each camper. The camp includes two daily practices on the water as well as active seminars on erg training and body circuits.

Penn Volleyball Camp - August 7 - 10, 2008 (girls ages 14-18)

Players of all levels and positions are encouraged to attend this camp.  Players will be grouped by skill level for an individual development experience where one can maximize her potential and improve to the next level of play.  Click Here to Register Online!

Penn Soccer Academy - Various Dates

  • Day Camps - June 16-20 & July 21-25, 2008
    This day camp program is designed to benefit both male and female players between the ages of 6 and 13. It offers players of various skill levels the opportunity to improve their soccer skills while increasing their love of the game. Focus will be on development of individual skills taught through fun exercises, daily competitions and small sided games. Each day campers also get time to swim.
  • College Prep Academy - July 15 - 19, 2008, Ages 14-18, Grades 9-12 girls only (teams and individuals accepted!)
    This week of camp will resemble a college preseason experience for those players aiming to reach their potential. Sessions will revolve around tactical development in small group and team environments. The focus of this camp will be to constantly place the campers in competitive situations to challenge their skill development and evaluate their tactical decision- making.
  • Advanced Academy - July 9 -13, 2008, Ages 10-14, girls only (teams and individuals accepted!)
    This intense week of training and small sided games focuses on skill development and decision making in a small group arena. Sessions will build quickly from technical repetition and skill development to dynamic games and exercises that will require decision making and execution of skills in match situations.
  • High School Team Pre-Season Camp - July 27-31, 2008, Only ten teams accepted
    This camp will help prepare your team for the season. Our curriculum will include daily fitness and technical training. We will incorporate tactical development in the afternoon sessions. The evening games will be structured in a league-type format to enhance competitive play, and will include team development activities as well as leadership seminars.

Al Bagnoli All-Star Football Camps - July 19, 2008 (one day clinic) &  July 20 - 23, 2008 (overnight camp)

The objective of this camp is to introduce, develop and reinforce the fundamental of football for both interior and perimeter plays.  This camp is open to any player entering grades 9-12 in the fall of 2008.

Penn Swimming Camp - June 16 - 20, 2008 & June 23 - 27, 2008

Camps run from 9am - 3pm each day.  For more information contact Brian Gallagher via e-mail or 215-898-4495.

Penn Fencing Camp - July 20 - 26, 2008 & July 27 - August 2, 2008

Each camper will acquire a better understanding of practice techniques, fundamental actions, bout structure, strategy, tactics and conditioning. The material of the camp program should enable the camper to be more effective in training and competing during the following season. Individual lessons are geared toward each fencer’s particular needs.

Penn Gymnastics Camp - June 9-12, June 23-27, June 30-July 1, July 7-11, July 21-25, July 28-August 1 and August 4-8

This camp is for boys and girls ages 5-12. Cost: $325/week plus each enrolled child will receive a camp t-shirt. Early drop off at 8:50 a.m. and camp will end at 5 p.m.

A Julian Krinsky summer internship will let you explore your career interests, gather important references for college, make lifelong friends, and gain a sense of independence and responsibility. Career Builders is your chance to find out what professional life is all about.

Penn Department of Recreation - Various Dates

Register for summer instructional classes in pilates, yoga, dance, and martial arts.  No membership at the David Pottruck Health and Fitness Center is required.

Anthropologists in the Making - June 23 - August 15, 2008

Adventurous children ages 7 through 13 can participate in Anthropologists in the Making, a day camp organized by Penn Museum's Education Department. Through interactive gallery tours, art activities, games and special guest performances, campers travel through time and across continents. Each week highlights a different theme, offering campers the opportunity to enjoy one week or all eight. This year's themes are listed below. Sponsored by the Education Department at the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology.

Discover, explore and experience one day and series programming designed for children of all ages and their families. 

  • Orienteering - Saturday, May 10
    Join enthusiast Mark Frank of the Delaware Valley Orienteering Association.  Orienteering is the skill that allows you to find your way between specified points through unknown terrain by using a detailed map. If you enjoy a challenge, this is the sport for you! For ages 8 years and up.
  • Mother’s Day Wreath Workshop - Saturday, May 10
    Join Cheryl Wilks, Floral Educator and Owner of “Flowers on Location”. Make mom/grandma a keepsake wreath that she’ll be able to treasure for years. This workshop, designed for 5 to 12 years old, is guaranteed to ignite their creativity and make it fun to learn about the elements of design. All materials are included

  • Forest Bingo, Turtle Races and Other Adventures - Saturday, May 10
    Join Irene Safren, Naturalist, Churchville Nature Center and the Eagles Mere Conservancy. Activities include a scavenger hunt to find natural treasures and a game of forest bingo where the shapes you discover in nature become your bingo sheet. You will explore different habitats to find suitable animal homes and we’ll get a close up look at some intriguing critters under the microscope. This is an intergenerational program.
