  • Advanced Physiology and Pathophysiology
    Course integrates advanced pathophysiology and clinical implications for graduate nursing students.

  • Introduction to Research Methods and Design
    The relationship between nursing theory, research and practice will be examined. Course focuses on understanding nursing research methods and strategies in order to evaluate results for utilization in practice. Course will include the process of conducting research as well as evaluating research findings for use in practice.

  • Principles of General and Organic Chemistry
    Concepts of General Chemistry basic to the understanding of the health related sciences.

  • Concepts of Pharmacology & Therapeutics
    Essential concepts of pharmacology and pharmacodynamics are reviewed for the major drug classes.

  • Victimology
    Examines wide range of victimization experiences from the perspective of the victim, their families and society.

  • An Introduction to Organic Chemistry, Biological Chemistry and Molecular Genetics
    Concepts of organic chemistry and biochemistry basic to the understanding of the health-related sciences.

  • The Medically Fragile Child
    Designed to assist prospective practitioners develop advanced skills in dentifying the needs and interventions for medically fragile children and their families, in coordination with hospital, home and community services.

  • Loss, Grief and Bereavement
    Provides basis both for personal development and professional growth. Through a series of seminars, key issues surrounding loss, death, dying, grief and bereavement will be examined.

  • Nursing Informatics
    Designed to introduce students to fundamental concepts and issues surrounding technology and information management in today's rapidly changing health care environment.

  • Applied Finance
    Focuses on the management of material resources in acute care, ambulatory care, home care,long term care and occupational health care. Specific
