Pre-Freshman Program Residential Manager
Resident Managers (RM) are responsible for working closely with the Pre-freshman Program Coordinator to ensure that program runs smoothly and effectively by monitoring the daily activities of PFP and providing direct supervision to Peer Counselors. Each RM is also responsible for playing a key role in building and maintaining “community” throughout PFP by overseeing both formal and informal activities that will promote community development. Residential Managers must be graduate/professional students and should have experience carrying out the following:
- Enforcement of program rules and policies
- Discipline of participants as necessary
- Supervision of staff
- Administrative assignments (convening staff meetings, completing reports, monitoring petty cash expenditures, etc.)
Commitment Dates for PFP 2008 are July 18 - August 23, 2008. Salary is $2500, plus free apartment and meals.
